Graduate School of Jewish Education

Building on Hebrew College's long-standing tradition of training outstanding Jewish educators, the Shoolman Graduate School of Jewish Education offers a comprehensive curriculum that combines the best in educational theory and practice with a solid foundation in Jewish texts and Hebrew language. Our graduates share a passion for Jewish learning and a deep commitment to educating students of all backgrounds, beliefs and abilities.

Whether you are new to the field or a seasoned professional seeking to advance in your Jewish education career, you will be guided by experienced educators to find the right academic program to fulfill your goals. If you are making a mid-career transition to Jewish education, Shoolman faculty will help you to design a program that allows you to maintain your present professional, family and personal responsibilities while earning an advanced degree.

You may select from a wide array of Jewish education specialties as you work toward a master's degree or certificate. The Master of Jewish Education degree may also be combined with either Rabbinical or Cantorial Ordination.
